Job Description:

Steps Ahead Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Depot and Helpdesk Engineer to join their team in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT hardware and providing technical support to internal and external users. This role requires a dynamic individual who can handle hardware issues, provide troubleshooting solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees and clients, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Manage IT hardware, including installations, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of IT hardware and software.
  • Perform regular maintenance of IT equipment to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, system, and hardware issues.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of IT systems and software applications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, hardware inventory, and service logs.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, hardware management, or a similar technical role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
    • Experience with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
    • Knowledge of networking and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with users and vendors.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Degree must be HEC recognized.

  • Medically fit.
